Alternate Resume

As I want to go into the field of psychology and become a therapist, I asked ChatGPT, “How can you refine this to be more tailored to the psychology field, specifically for applying for a job at a psychotherapy clinic?” Below you can see the alternate form, but when I compared my actual resume to this AI alternative one, it focused on my in-person interactions with others in my jobs, as well as highlighted more of my research experience at UNR. Another thing I noticed was that terms that I have fairly generalized on my resume, such as “customer service,” were reworded to be “client communication and rapport building”. The simple act of rephrasing my skills brings a whole new meaning to my abilities and makes me look like a more desirable candidate for employers. Something that stayed the same was time management. I found this interesting, but it highlights how important time management is in every industry in order to meet deadlines, schedule with clients, and so much more. In the future, I plan on using AI increasingly to help me tailor my resume for desired jobs and opportunities.
